With the annual supply of DoC within the SAPA project, will provide income to at least 400 broiler farmers and their workers. Besides, as a result of the project, about 16 million kg corn with a total value of US$ 5 million/year needs to be sourced yearly from smallholder corn farmers. This gives opportunities to enhance the livelihoods of 2,500 farmers and their workers. Through the training programs and introduction of improved production technologies, farmer income of smallholder corn and broiler farmers is expected to increase significantly.
